Had so much fun watching the game you can imagine Dragon, what with a house full of Almaenwyr Ha ha.

Mexico were unlucky not to win by 3 or 4 imo.

Don't see them Germans dropping another point though as they pragmatically play themselves all the way to the final, that's what I've been told anyway.

Try telling the side who is maybe pushing for an equaliser there is no rush, try telling them that stopping the game for over 2 minutes doesn't effect the pace of the game. I can imagine countries going out because of dubious decisions I have seen that for how ever many world cups have been played prior to this and I have also watched horrendous decisions not being made after Var this tournament, that is not coming from me but ex referees. it spoils the game for me.

But don't you think that the team pushing for an equaliser would care how long it took if VAR gave them the penalty that led to the equaliser ? Getting the decision correct is above all other scenarios for me. VAR is a definite improvement on all that has gone before. It's still early days and hopefully it will get even better, but it certainly has my vote.

That hasn't happened though, it is a shambles with everybody disagreeing with what decisions that are being made, 4 minutes whilst peru were chasing an equaliser for a guy to get a yellow card, totally took the fizz out of the game, Var is for me simply not working, I get it for the ball over the line, {which I know isn't needed now} as the decision is almost instant, but why does the ref have to run over and look for himself when 4 refs (dressed in kits ffs) are already looking at the incident, just tell them what to do. we will soon be getting to a time when refs wont make any decisions and leave it to somebody in a cupboard watching a tv. Mistakes and errors are part of the game, like it or not, var sterilises the game to much and even then get so many decisions wrong.

I will be watching the game tonight and for the first time at a tournament I will not be shouting for England as I am sick of listening for the 6 tournament in a row how this one is different and how this time they are going in better prepared and have no fear, heard it all before. They will probably win this one I guess, but I hope they don't.

They have already been told not to give any close offside decisions and to leave it to var in case they make an error.

England in sixes and sevens for me, not settled enough on the ball, and too many chances gone begging, if they don't relax and play they could well lose this game, silly penalty to give away, but then it was Walker, enough said........................<ok>
