Well that was another interesting game. Teams are playing not to lose than going all out for the win....You just can't pick a winner..England need to look at this and go for the win and not park the bus like most of them are doing because we all know how bad England are in penalty shoot outs.....
Probably, its has to be France or the Samba boyz as favorites to make the final. I wasn't that impressed with Brazil, I thought they pranced around and flopped far too much when legitimately tackled. They played with the same untouchable arrogance that allowed Russia in to beat Spain. Serbia managed to put them under pressure for large portions of their game but Mitrovic is not a world class striker. If he was he'd have bagged a brace and then we would have seen what Brazil is made of and imo 'they don't like it up em'. France looked good, for a game, and if they can continue their form they'll be a force to be reckoned with and I think no one can match them. I've got Belgium as my dark horses but I think Les Bleus are the team to beat. On the soft side England have to be favorites to make the final. On paper, England are the better team that side so should win their way to the final. No disrespect to Columbia, Russia, Croatia, Switzerland or Sweden but iIf I was English, I'd be salivating like a Pavlovian dog every time I heard the world cup theme tune. I'd back Wales to beat them all if we were there instead of England. England will never, ever have a better opportunity than this to make a world cup final. They can get there without having to play any top team including Germany, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Portugal, Uruguay or France. All these teams would give them a tough game and most would be favorites to beat them so now is their time, only fear can stop them imo.
Have they got a better squad than Croatia, take Kane out of that side and it isnt the best, one of the worst back 3's in the tournament. But the draw has opened up to them and I have a terrible sinking feeling that they may well make the final. the thought of it and the press for the next 30 years doesn't bare thinking about, would have to emigrate I think. Please Columbia have your best game so far and knock them out.
On paper I think England should beat Columbia, but games aren’t played on paper, and unless England dictate the tempo tomorrow night, I think Columbia will win, they need to start with some serious energy using Kane to bag a few opening goals early and then control the game to the end...... If England sit deep, and wait to hit Columbia on the break, I think Columbia will win.

Yes early couple of goals will do nicely.....Brazil must be Favorites by a mile with the Frogs 2nd and England 3rd.........But it will all be on the day as we have seen with some huge teams going out that normally would reach the quarters at the very least.....
