So what do we reckon for the opening game of Brazil v Croatia?

Croatia to win 3 nil. Brazil don't make it out of the group and the world gets abandoned following 3 weeks of rioting which turns into a civil war. There is my prediction.

There is normally an upset somewhere in the early stages and like all European sides will have too, if Croatia can deal with the heat, there might be a surprise result. Although a South American World Cup always goes to a South American side, so no surprise to see Brazil and Argentina as the front runners.

As for the riots it is going to be interesting to see how the authorities handle the Favela's. To be fair I heard the cost of this world cup in terms of billions the other day, in comparison to previous world cups and i have to agree obscene sums of money have been invested to bring this tournament and it does tarnish it. How the Fravela's will react will be interesting or maybe as always just silenced as the minority in deprivation.
 
Brazil to win 3-1. Croatia are without their main striker in Mandzukic due to suspension and I don't see Jelavic or Eduardo having the same effect.
 
Brazil 1-2 Croatia dirty match 3 sent off, referee an idiot, Brazil goal disallowed after crossing the line. Sepp Blatter says something offensive as usual and is lynched in a local favela.
 
Yeah agree with the comments, the ref spoilt the game last night.

Missed the first half of the Mexico game today because of work but expect tonight....
