There's one on the Sun, but I don't want to touch that paper.

Anyway, apparently Steven Gerrard likes the song Wake Me Up by Avicci to get himself pumped up before a match. What a legend.

Falcao misses out for Colombia. Probably the most high profile absentee this World Cup.

Thus far Greg - most teams have a couple of warm up games to play yet, so still time for the odd injury to a major player. Hope not though.

The daft thing is that not only are they struggling to deliver, they also can't afford it. Admirable that FIFA are determined to spread the games around the continents, but only countries with money and decent venues can really lay on a tournament of this size. If only we could think of a country with large football stadiums, finance and a record of putting on good tournaments (and an average temperature perfect for football in June/July). In fact, the tournament could have been shared between a few European countries and therefore spread the cost. Australia could have laid on a good tournament as well.

Thanks, I had seen this one but was looking for one that was already up and running as a few of my colleagues will be on holiday before then plus I begrudge giving my email to FIFA and McDonald's more so than a newspaper :).

So what are your favourite World Cup or which moments that stick in your mind?

Cafu's dribble in France 98? Senegal's shock victory against France or new Saints' recruit scoring a delightful free-kick against Argentina to put them out in 2002? Or maybe it was Bergkamp's goal against Argentina or Ortega's headbutt in the same match or Denilson and his pointless but entertaining show-boating?
