Really struggling to pick a winner. From the outset I went with the Argies but they haven't impressed me so far and look very reliant on Messi despite having some amazing players. I'll stick with them but I'm not as sure. I'll go with your final of Argies Germany.

With injuries and suspensions I am going for a Germany v Argentina final and Germany to win, mores the pity. They are like their cars, super efficient, brilliantly put together, but totally lacking charisma. I'd rather drive an Alfa than an Audi, even though the Audi will still be running when the Alfa has turned up its toes.

Germany are basically Bayern's front 6 minus the flair of Robben and Ribery, but their interpassing, possession-based, German tik tak was special last night
Would agree with you on Holland.
They were so lucky to make this far - luckier than Brazil. 3rd place match might answer that.
Silva will be back to provide the spine for Brazil.
Of the few predictions we go here, only we both agree on the finalists, but both made one wrong (Brazil & Holland) selection! So it is sort of tie.

Typical that they play like demons as soon as I say they're a bit dull. !!! Think that was a once in a lifetime sort of game, EC, germany surely aren't that good nor Brazil that bad ?? Thought the Argies were pretty negative too, god knows what the final will be like !

In 06 and 10, Germany were playing more exciting fast counter attacking football. This tournament they have played more possession-based controlled football, due to personnel, six midfielders, no natural wingers. Or five midfielders with Klose and a direct winger, Schurrle, playing as a sub.
Obviously their one touch possession football was superb v Brazil and worked a treat
Think if i'd have had the dutch to beat Mexico i'd have every game right so far.

I didn't have Brazil just like you didn't have Holland.
Tiebreaker would be the final!!

Holland team is more or less same as England - with a better coach.
Argentina is more or less same as Brazil - with a slightly better Talisman.
When 3 teams from concacaf(arguably worst football federation in the world) - USA, Mexico & Costa Rico qualify to knockout stages - something is wrong with football.
Awful teams made this world cup interesting.
