I think the winner will come form the sub-continent - hard to see past India?

The ICC is considering increasing funding for Associate and Affiliate nations as part of the on-going review into its governance and structure. The news will go some way to appeasing Associate representatives aggrieved by the effects of the ICC's 2014 financial and administrative restructuring, informally referred to as the Big Three takeover.
Funding for the 95 Associate and Affiliate nations from 2015-23 has currently been agreed at $299 million, only a slight increase in real terms from the $252 million awarded to Associate and Affiliate nations in the preceding media and commercial rights package from 2007-15. Had the ICC rights for 2015-23 been distributed according to the previous revenue model (2007-2015), Ehsan Mani, the former ICC President, estimates that the Associate nations could have received over $550 million.

West Indies off-spinner Sunil Narine has been cleared to resume bowling after his action was found to be legal by the International Cricket Council.
The 27-year-old was banned for a suspect action in November during the West Indies' tour of Sri Lanka and has not played for more than four months.

Ireland's bid to flesh out their competitive engagements in between global events will take another step up next summer, when they host New Zealand and Bangladesh in a six-match tri-series in May 2017.
The tournament has been arranged to help New Zealand and Bangladesh acclimatise ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy, which takes place in England next June and for which Ireland - currently ranked No. 11 in the world - failed to qualify.

Promotion and relegation could be introduced into Test cricket as early as 2019, if ICC chief executive David Richardson has his way. Richardson admitted that Test cricket required added "meaning and context" if it is to survive and revealed that the ICC hopes to unveil plans for the introduction of two divisions and, potentially, a number of new Test nations within the next few weeks.
Richarson said that it offered the prospect of Test status to the likes of Nepal, Ireland and Afghanistan, but warned more established nations - notably West Indies - that they could find themselves playing Division Two cricket if they are unable to improve their red-ball form.

The ICC's cricket committee has recommended that the governing body make the latest British Safety Standard (BSS) helmets mandatory in international cricket, following a two-day meeting at Lord's. The committee also said it was of the view that the current playing conditions allow players who are struck on the field of play to receive the best possible medical attention, so there was no need to introduce innovations like concussion substitutes.
