The Champions League Twenty20 has been discontinued with immediate effect.
The tournament, which has run since 2009 and featured the top T20 sides from most of the major Test-playing countries, has been cancelled because of "limited public following".

The MCC World Cricket Committee have described the reorganisation of the World Cup to a 10 team event as "a retrograde step" and called for T20 cricket to become an Olympic sport.
Calling for a rethink of the ICC's decision to cut the number of participants in future World Cups from 14 to 10, the committee criticised the move as "a handbrake for the development of the sport."
Instead, they have recommended a 12-team tournament preceded by a "preliminary qualification round" for the "lower ranked Full Member teams and the top Associate Nations."

Pakistan and Zimbabwe have decided to put on hold their limited-overs series that was to be played from August 17 to September 17 in Zimbabwe. Although no definite reason has been identified for the postponement of the series, a likely one is that Pakistan did not want to jeopardise their qualification for the 2017 Champions Trophy.
If that is the reason it's ludicrous that they are allowed to do that

Indian fast bowler Shanthakumaran Sreesanth has been cleared of spot-fixing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) by a court in Delhi.
Sreesanth and his teammates from the Rajasthan Royals, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan, were accused of cheating in 2013.
The players maintained their innocence and on Saturday a court dropped all charges due to lack of evidence.
