Offshore boys are the worst for that. Thought I was getting away from all that by going onshore again but if anything it's worse where I am now. Hoping that when we get the new guys hired I'll be going back to hands-on stuff like laser alignment and balancing again. I hate sitting in an office all day. Much rather be at a distillery or smelter ****ing about with a fan or something than chained to a desk,
im off today and so are the ****ing pubs and off licences .. thanks to the ****ty licensing laws in this ****ed up country. whats the point of a day off if ya cant go to the pub for the day. christ the offies last nite were like a scene from a disaster movie people stocking up on drink for today. a lot more than they'll even consume but the fear is always there that you'll run dry about half 7 and spend the rest of the evening/night nursing a hangover
I'll be off soon and heading straight for the off-license for a nice bottle of wine and a few beers. Home, chill for a bit, have a shower, dressed, head out to pub. Then home and either open the wine or have a couple of beers, depending how I feel. Magic Plus, you have a job
ah well **** you stereo ill be here lashing into one of the 4 slabs i bought and smoking some good green stuff. and yes i have a job you **** and its not a pissy fanny job either were your tools are a stapler and paper punch
I'm a lazy bastard so sitting at a desk suits me fine although I could be doing with being outdoors now and again - except in the iwnter. I've had my share of shift work and being away from home for extended periods so likewise a nice easy 9-5 and decent recompense for my half -hearted labour is all it takes to keep me happy. Your'e only old once. It also means I can watch as much TV as I like.
really considering to be a plasterer you need to go to college for for 8 six week spells over 4 years hmm
course i didnt deny it , we've got apprentices for the donkey work and cleaning our gear after a days work and going to the shop of course were lazy
it helps us concentrate and get all the angles lovely and straight thats my story anywayand im stickin to it
