Chart for the week, sorry its a bit late.... playing doctors again.

Been a bit of a mixed week by the looks of things. No fails, and x2 in the 30's club.
X6 scores under 25, but none below 20.
Tuesdays was a strange one, with every score other than a fail covered.

Hats off to @clockstander who got a superb Hole in One....well done Clocky.

Made my day that one.

On to Star of The Week, and again it was tight....went down to the Sunday again.
Coming out on top was @cumbrianmackem with an excellent 22, consistently good at this mate.

Runner up spot is shared between @Ron and @flandersmackem who both scored 23. <applause><applause><applause><applause><applause><applause>

Very Honourable mention to @clockstander with 24, including that Hole in One, and honourable mentions to @Gordon Armstrong and @malagamackem both with 24.

The wooden spoon was also a close run thing this week, with @SAFCDRUM just edging it from @Young Ted :emoticon-0136-giggl:emoticon-0136-giggl:emoticon-0136-giggl<cheers>

After my first guess it left me with 206 possible answers
After my 2nd guess it left me with 68 possible answers
After my 3rd guess it left me with 2 possible answers
After my 4th guess there were still just 2 possible answers - unfortunately my guess was not a possible answer as it had already been used
For my 5th guess I went for the only word I could think of that fitted so I was expecting all greens (totally oblivious to the fact that it could have been the other word)

PS I won't be doing that any more

I think I have proved to myself (having played the Wordle unlimited many times) that, if you always start with the same word (provided it is a good one) you will usually get it after 3 or 4 guesses, occasionally 2

If you start with a different word every time, I can't imagine what the odds are
