After first 2 Hughies and last letter Hughie on my eagle put, I got my act together for an easy bogey

This language confuses me!!One Hughie, Eddie, two Hughies,, another
, then some
before someone dropped a penny and I found a double bogey
That was a bugger![]()
New to this game, ehThis language confuses me!!
Hughie, Dooie and Louie? Aye go on then!!New to this game, eh
Do you want an explanation for all of it, ?
Explanation . . . .One Hughie, Eddie, two Hughies,, another
, then some
before someone dropped a penny and I found a double bogey
That was a bugger![]()
Dunno how he couldn't have worked that out himself tbh....Explanation . . . .
Hughie - as in Hughie Green (Opportunity Knocks - 80's 'talent' show)
Eddie - as in The Equaliser - Edward Woodward, known as Edwood Woodwood (one of each)
- as in a pint of Lorimers (an advert from the 80s where Lorimers meant 'that's scotch for same again')
before the penny dropped
I didn't even mention 'juicy' . . . . as in orange juice (orange - a letter in the wrong place)
No doubt that would have taken me 3 with my luckFirst eagle in a long while. The juicy on the opening guess had to be the last letter so bit of a tap in TBH.
