Four. Certainly could be a lot worse. One each from my usual starting word but with a green letter in a particularly uncommon position. Struggled for hours to think of a valid word then had a rather strange experience randomly guessing word no.2 to word no.4, all of which I have no idea about their meaning. One each for the first two rounds and two greens in the third round.
Lost 4-6 phew What a ball breaker that was... 1 hughie, 1 of each, 2 hughies and a juicey, this is where the old grey cells almost let me down.. lorimers, 3 hughies, loads of guessing with words I've never heard of and luckily for me with another guess which I still hadn't heard of got it. Stupid game nearly spoilt my Easter.
3 - surprised with that. Took a guess and wasn’t sure it was a valid word. Shocked when all 5 turned green. Shouted “GET IN” and scared the wife! YYOOO GYYOO GGGGG
Wordle 659 6/6* Ended up using random letters from those left for last 2 letters. After 2 non words this one turned green
One Hughie, three, , another then a pure guess, not knowing that this was a word, and a boring bogey 'cos this isn't even a fecking word
Par four here 3 hughies same three same three tried about twenty random words and completely guessed the right two final letters Never even heard of that word before
Chart for the week...and it's been a bit of a tough one, with six scores of 30 or over. Sundays word SNAFU being a bit of a contentious word. I thought is was a acronym...Situation Normal, All ****ed Up. Anyway, on to Star Of The Week, and this week's accolade goes to @Norman Stanley Fletcher with a very impressive 23, pipping Cumriette by 1 point. All square on 20, a 3 vs 4 on the final day nicks it. Well done that man.....
Start the new week with a rare two. Two yellows and one green from the starting word. Hopefully it’ll be a good day.
Lost 2-3. 2 juiceys, 3 + a hughie, easy putt for a welcome birdie. The bride is pleased someone has beaten her last week so well done NSF, but she's back on it with an eagle today, thanks Snaggey your a top lad.
