Stupid midweek match to take on - just to satisfy Gatland wanting to play at his home town.
Wales made 15 changes (although Warburton was a late starter) - they had 8 out in the All Blacks squad.
We don't have the depth of squad strength that some countries have - this was an accident waiting to happen. With John Spencer present, Gatland's "request" may have backfired - this could cost him the Lions Coaching job for next year's tour, particularly with Schmidt's Ireland winning in SA.

Fair observations Taff. Never been a Gatland fan, a wee bit egotistic for me. He will NEVER be forgiven in Ireland for his treatment of BOD on that Lions tour.
