Apologies for my unexpected absence - the people buying Nicola’s bungalow asked for a plumber to have a look at the gas boiler etc.

We were scheduled to complete next week.

As I suspected, he attempted to do a ‘hatchet’ job to allow the purchaser to lower his offer, he was ‘stopped on his tracks’ by our Estate Agent.

I’ve instructed the Estate Agent to re-market it... (at a higher price given the local market <laugh>)

Cheers Nick - these are the same people who wouldn’t talk to the Estate Agent (or their Solicitor to ours) in December.... turned out they had lost their buyer, then only came up for air again in early January to say they had a new buyer.....

When the Agent told him he was in reverse mode faster than an Italian tank ....
