Isn't he just, not just his attacking acumen, that 40 metre odd clearing kick with a couple if minutes to go was a potential game saver.

Him and Hogg...oh yes

Question - Equitable (?)

* - I don’t think so. It felt harsh at the time and still does <cheers>

Every team will have to be careful about this type of entry for the remainder of the Six Nations..... Refs may/will feel compelled to follow suit for similar situations

Nick - I think that refs nowadays are sh1t scared of making an error and therefore need the comfort blanket and reassurance of the TMO. Don’t think that, eg ‘great’ refs of the past like Gwynne Walters and Clive Norling (I’ve quoted Welsh refs as I am more familiar with them) would have felt the need ... but who knows?

Thanks for this Taff, can't see Nigel ceding his authority on a regular basis

We agreed yesterday - yellow card and a penalty. Didn't look like clear intent to hit his head, unlike POM.

I also agree with comments on Owen Farrell, at least one questionable hit every game, a serial offender in my opinion (not just because he is English)

Looking forward to Ireland - France PM

I thought Farrell was lucky yesterday - his hit on Varney (his father ‘Reg’ - ex-Neath open side - was good enough to have played for Wales) was reviewed. I’ve seen yellow cards given for such ‘tackles’...
