Brian Thomas (ex Neath & Wales) told a great story about going to see a Tinplate customer of Velindre’s in the Midlands. (Brian was Works Manager)

The owner of the business was very proud of his ethnically diverse workforce and asked Brian if it was the same in Velindre .... to which Brian responded “Yes .... we’ve got a few effing Turks ....” <laugh><laugh><laugh>
