Do you think this theme is a bit of a procession and not like our usual word play??

Any ideas <cheers>

Carry on if you are happy

Nick, it may / will be more difficult, I suspect, to ‘link’ words.

Do you want to change to words that include

PAL (Palma)
MAL (Mallorca)

or something else?

You choose, please! <cheers>

I know coz I was there!

7 years later we were back playing Pontypridd: we lost ....

Andrew was the mascot and I was in the ‘Royal/President’s Box’.

It was a pleasure meeting Sir Tasker Watkin, VC. By that time a retired Judge.

He was lovely to both mascots - a true gentleman.

Primarily - Blameless

I got to know all the boys in the squad really well. Despite their hard edge on the field - and that’s putting it mildly at times - off it, the majority were great, and especially polite in front of my wife and kids.

A week and a half later we hosted Pontypridd in the last League match of the season - had to win and score 5 (or was it 6?) tries to get maximum points.....

Got a great photo of Gareth Llewellyn and my son holding the Heineken League trophy in the dressing room after we’d beaten Ponty to pip Cardiff to the title.

Did you know the Premier Division trophy was in Cardiff that evening (Cardiff were playing and beating Llanelli 80-0?) - the trophy presented was the First Division trophy: they obviously didn’t expect us to get maximum bonus points that night <laugh>
