Doctor finally arrived. Swab clear so no flu.

Keeping Sue in for tonight & possibly tomorrow for obs and to ensure that pneumonia doesn’t develop - X-ray was clear but they are giving appropriate medication just in case.
 
That makes a lot of sense Taff, far far better to be safe than sorry. Sue will need tons of TLC when she comes home, plus one of those Rib Eyes at your local

That's good news re Sue's progress. I guess they are erring on the side of caution, which is no bad thing.

Yes indeed...perhaps after Sue returns home, a surprise week somewhere warm would aid/speed her recovery??

Morning Nick & Taff, and I hope Sue is doing okay, speaking from experience, pneumonia is a pain…

I'm back, and just-in-time by the sound of it! Hopefully my computer is now working, as it should damned well should be with all the updates I have had to make because of all the other updates. Still a bit flakey, but workable. Just.
