Actually, that is another use/meaning for the word!

Crush - Cosh*

* - cause a crush at a football match in the 70s or 80s could get you a cosh off the cops <laugh>

In today’s Western Mail:

Not sure that I would agree that Kobus Wiese was a great guy off the pitch - I spoke with him in the GlynClydach Hotel after the match, he was arrogant and unfriendly.

Hennie le Roux and the full back Andre Joubert were both gentlemen.

They turned up so late for the function that we thought that they weren’t going to show.

Overall, I found that the Aussies and the Yanks were far more friendly after the matches.

Nick, just received this text from my sister.

‘Just got home. Saw Prof in London - it’s a rare form of cancer. Prognosis - he said it is guesswork as it is so rare - average timescale would be 2 years with chemo. It could have been worse - he could have said 2 weeks or 2 months!

I thought Mam was young at 78 - this is so cruel to think I will be only 62. Obviously it is very upsetting for all of us.’

Morning Taff

Poor lady, what a heartbreaking text to send and to recieve. If there can be any consolation, and as she says 2 years is better than 2 weeks.

I am certain that your family will gather round and make whatever time is left, is memorable<peacedove><peacedove>

Today's theme, if you feel like it, words starting with S and ending in Y

Hutch - Starsky

Apologies for beating you to it <laugh>
