Googled it..at its & Corby's prime, it had over 1,500 paid up members.
Sadly closed (as is Corby)

Corgi - Unicorn
The big closure announcement was in 1979 - one of the guys on my Degree course in Cardiff was from Corby - his parents were Scottish!

There is still some steel activity there - Tubes I seem to recall.
