Blimey, just had my car valeted, had my hair cut and am now £35 lighter in me wallet <wah>

By the way, was in a BMW showroom yesterday looking at a 218i Active Tourer via Motability...saw an M5 Competion, golden brown £97k plus, I asked the sales guy (dead pan) if it was available on Motability.

I can confirm that BMW salesmen have no sense of humour

Swamp - Scrip **

** perhaps I should have asked if they accepted this

PS...the bronze M4 convertible looked sensational

I opted against the BMW solely because of the ‘aggressive’ hard sell approach - he wanted je to sign there and then.

Said he’d match the offer made via Carwow - when I left, I went through the numbers and he was £2k more expensive!

Aren't they just. Same as their Mercedes counterparts...when I enquired about a GLA, they looked at me as somebody the dog dragged in

Forgot to mention, yesterday my grandson came to the David Lloyd club with us. His parents are potty training him and these last 4 days he’s been dry - but then an accident yesterday in the soft play area.

My wife told me to inform reception - I was telling her when she guessed what I was going to say and said “Oh, he’s wee’d in my ball pit ......’

Drinking my G&T when I read that <doh>

** no comment (again)

That’s a true story - years ago I’d have said something like “There’s no answer to that .....”

But in today’s ‘PC’ World, I held it in, turned around and laughed to myself.

Something similar a couple of weeks ago at the local ‘mini’ Co-op.

The young lady at the till said after she’d finished swiping all the items and it was time to pay with my card “OK - I’m ready for you....”
