** re Indian restaraunts. This place (just off Regent Street) is the oldest one in London and arguably the best.
Had an expense account there back in the day when I worked for Boeing.

** Other ways of expressing the heat of a jar of Veeraswamy’s madras curry paste rashly bought by the senior PHs when on a holiday in London are also available. Hmm, they thought, this is a bit new, let’s try a jar of this. It will spice things up a little bit. The jar immediately hit the back of the cupboard, and when tried 15 years later the word ‘hot’ doesn’t want even begin to describe it.
