Morning Nick and Taff, and I hope King Lear was enjoyable, Nick!

harrier Hector **

** As in a phrase commonly uttered by Stoke fans, viz, what the Hector is going on? Or words to that general, albeit less polite, effect.

Nick, I posted this on another thread on the Swansea board

D-Day took place on 6 June 1944 - 74 years ago today.

My late father-in-law served throughout World War 2 in North Africa, and came home unscathed apart from memories/experiences that he never spoke about....

In contrast, D-Day was the first (and last) day of action for a cousin of his - his cousin stood on a land mine and had a foot blown off. Compared to some, he was ‘lucky’.....

Lest we forget <rose>
