Yes indeed, I read that this morning, also about clubs complaining about Eddie Jones's training methods and injuries.
In my mind, the answer is simple, too games per season, seasons seem to last 10 or 11 months nowadays, heavy collisions being mandatory. The American NFL is 15 games max - if you get to the play offs.
