Morning Nick and Taff,

well, it was going to happen, and I feel curiously relieved, a bit like a close elderly relative has just passed on. I didn’t feel close enough, so I didn’t even listen to the final heartbeats and spluttering coughs on radio Stoke for a change, preferring instead to watch the snooker. I didn’t even know the result until Sunday and even now don’t know the result, although looking at the football news this morning it looks like they are all falling in on themselves. Oh well, thrice before the cock creweth and all that…. Now, where did I park my original ident?

PS, best of luck tonight, Taff

A perfect analogy Stoke City R.I.P.

"Parting is such sweet sorrow" - except for the culprits.

Never heard footballers come out with the blame culture, before the season ends.
Not a happy camp eh?

well, I’ve been through this hoop many a time before, admittedly at other clubs as I have moved around, but I have to say this is a new one on me; normally it transpires that somehow it is the fans’ fault (I don’t know how or why, but there you go) but you could at least take some comfort in the thought that there was unity in your club. But here, before the end of the season, we have an implosion scenario. As Bertie Wooster might have said, I shall watch their future progress with interest…
