What a cracking game, beautiful shirt gsleeve day 17-26 and WORLD CLASS TRY - really, crossfield chip, perfect weight & length (this from a (tubby) prop forward. Two defenders coming across,
wing or centre at speed catches, checks inside - try.

At this level <yikes>...never happen in my day. A prop forward never touched the ball unless he fell on it <laugh>

Some if the scores in th PL are non to favourable

I remember watching Neath in a pre-season friendly against a local village side some 21/22 years ago.

It was a 50 or 60 pointer, but at one stage the Village team wanted to take a quick penalty.

One of the Neath players shouted ‘watch the fat guy’ to which another Neath player replied ‘Which one?’ <laugh>

Another anecdote..Bedford v Aberavon ssme 35 years ago. Two minutes to go and Bedford winning 45 - 0.

Penalty and for some reason Aberavon take the kick...split the posts

Their coach leaps up, shouting, C'mon Aber, we got the buggers worried now.

Think I’d rather have been in The Liberty....

Not very good - but our 21 months old grandson enjoyed, and that’s the main thing!
