Love him or loathe him (I'm firmly in the latter camp)...you have to hand it to Allardyce. Don't know what his bonus will be for keeping them up, but he's earned it

Clement has a bonus of £750k for keeping us in the PL. When he took over we were bottom with 12 points from 19 matches - we now have 38 points from 37 matches. On that basis, giving him that amount of money seems "fair" recognising that we will earn c£105m in the PL next year compared to a parachute payment of £40m for the same period....
