I’m with you on the spam, Nick. Trouble is, having read the bit about the Heston service station , and I’ve not stopped laughing at the thought of Heston Blumenthal running one. Best spam fritters around, only you have to wait six months for a table, and you can’t get your truck in to the car park for all the BMWs. Oh no, wait a minute, he did run a Little Chef, didn’t he?

Yes indeed PH, I think he was conceived in the service station and yes he did run a little chef for a while.

The early starter was Eggs Benedict made with Ostrich Eggs and Bacon, Rhubarb, Marmalade and Vimto sauce...yummy

Morning all and a lovely one it is.
