Reminds me of the one about the American Tourist who walks into Westminster Abbey and is shocked to see a telephone with a sign that said ‘Phone Calls to Heaven £10’
Saw the same sign when he walked into St Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh.
However, when he walked into Llandaff Cathedral he saw a sign that said ‘Phone Calls to Heaven 10p’
Intrigued, he went up to one of the Vergers and asked ‘Why is it 10p here in Llandaff whilst it is £10 in London and Scotland?’
‘Ah’ replied the Verger ‘that’s because in Wales it’s a local call ......’
