Outcome of consultation is an operation on my spine to relieve pressure caused by a prolapsed disc on my spinal cord and root nerve. He is going to inspect my metalwork while he's at it.
May be a contributing factor.
Unfortunately there is no alternative and I've been put on his urgent list.

No problems with this, its not something I'm looking forward to but its a no brainer.

Nick - hopefully, the operation will ‘cure’ the problem ie reduce it significantly once and for all.
