Moi Berk - Burke('s) ** ** Law - other highly improbable 1960's TV detective series are (still) available
That first episode saw a ‘harder edged’ Columbo. In many ways, better than the ‘set formula’ of later years. Rebound - Break* * - a break up, then a rebound?
My first taste of Apothic (from Morrisons). Very 'soft' dark berry/cherry taste (to me) and very sweet. To be 100% honest, first impression is, it's not for me. Do you mainly drink it with food? Hey ho, you don't try, you don't know
Sorry to read that Nick. I’m with you re the dark berry/cherry taste but I don’t find it sweet. But hey, as you say, it’s each to their own and if you don’t try .... That said, both Apothic and Cupcake (M&S) US red don’t taste the same as a year or two ago .... I sometimes drink it after food. Perhaps it’s time to try something else myself .... (but I’ve still good a few bottles to get through first)
Absolutely no reason to apologise Taff, I was curious to try it out. Re taste I finished off a bottle of Beaujolais Villages t'other day. A lighter wine altogether, lovely & refreshing. Its ABV is/was 10.5%, whereas the Apothic is 13.5%> Thereby lies the difference Anyway, as Oscar suggests, "a man should try everything once, except Morris Dancing and Incest" Break - Baker ** ** other Dr Who's (or is it Whose) are available. Signing off Taff, see you the morn
