For whatever reason Zidane doesn’t like or rate him. Zidane left when the President wanted to build the new team around Bale following Ronaldo’s departure. Real have made a rod for their own back by giving him a lengthy contract at £600k/w - no one else will pay anywhere near that for a guy who has hardly played in 2 seasons. I can’t see why he doesn’t leave to play - surely a workaround can be found, even if Real pays half his wages until the date his contract with them ends?
It would be interesting to hear Bale’s side of the story. The problem now is that if Zidane played Bale and Bale ‘shone’ it would cast doubt on and ask questions of Zidane himself.
