The paramedic who came to my assistance when I had a severe vertigo attack - the one and only time - on 29 September 2018.

Didn't know it was vertigo at the time - they thought it was something far more serious as they took me to A&E

He’s the guy who scored the hat-trick that kept us in the Football League when we beat Hull 4-2 in the final match of the 2002/3 season.

Doubt there are many ex-footballers who are first responders!

Actually, Nick, I did - I was sitting ‘out of it’ - so to speak in the lounge, with a neighbour by my side, when James walked in - recognised him immediately, saying “You’re James Thomas!”. Thanked him for looking after me (I even vomited into a tray he was holding) and for the hat-trick!

It’s his autograph!

Actually Nick, that photo is from Social Media - but it was as I wrote. Happened on 28 September: I missed the QPR match and the next day I was in bed, feeling terrible and watched Europe win the Ryder Cup!

My Dad’s funeral was 2 days later (Tuesday) - had it been the Monday, I’m not sure I’d have been able to attend..

Weather not looking good. Last week’s storm took out 2 pieces of one of our fences - I decided to put them to one side and wait for Storm Dennis to come and go!

Ciara also destroyed one of our pots out the back - one holding a ‘swirly-shaped’ tree like this one:
