Terrible news. My late brother in law work there before retiring through ill-health (dementia onset at 50.....)

The writing has been on the wall for years - I remember speaking with the regional Unite guy (my daughter had been in school with his son) several years ago on the railway platform at Neath and he mentioned it.

The loss of the contract to make engines for JLR was the ‘hammer-blow’.
