Eventual Morning Nick and Taff, quagmire Capuchin ** ** …the only order of monks to give their name to both a primate and a type of coffee! That’s going some, if you ask me…
Hi ,PH, It most certainly is, enlightened (as always) by your post I see our 'star' striker is up to his neck again.. Capuchin - Rasputin ** ** no coffee named after him, to my knowledge. But he had a song named after him
(ra ra) Rasputin excruciating ** ** I haven’t seen what the striker is up to yet, but I will now. I’m sure it will be. Anyway, such is the burden of being a Stoke fan…
T'was always thus PH Excrutiating - Antiquated ** ** it was wasn't it? Who is you:re all time No 1 band/musician then
antiquated Proustian ** ** …or the more things change, the more they stay the same. Only who would actually want to lash out the cash for him? As for bands, that is a real tough ‘un. It depends on my mood at the time, and I virtually always get to see the band I want to see in the end, but they all seem to live on the borders/ of the progressive/metal world. I would certainly say that the best album ever in history of all time is the Hounds of Love by Kate Bush
Never had you down as a Kate Bush fan, more of a prog rocker King Crimson or Genisis et al. As for me, Fairport Convention/Steeleye Span ,& Mozart Proustian - Epicurian
Epicurean Equestrian ** ** I’ve seen Fairport three times, a brilliant band, and was tempted by Steeleye Span when I saw they were playing at a local theatre. I don’t think I’ve even got a King Crimson record
Back in the day there was a lot of 'interchangeability' going on with both bands, plus Richard Thompso, Martin Carthy - Mr Swarbrick Equestrian - Substantial
Morning Nick & PH Long meeting yesterday! Today’s theme is words starting in E and ending in N Nubian - Egyptian
Hi Nick - 'twas' a long session! Then friends popped in to see Sue. Zonked last night! Englishman - Evertonian
