Saluti A bit far from the Napa Valley!! Think I'll join you (metaphorically) G&T Montepulciano - Catalonia
Ha ha! Choice was Rioja, Merlot or Montepulciano. Fancied something different and it went down a treat! Catalonia - Catatonia* * - second Welsh band of the week, I think after Stereophonics
Ah I see Calcification - Certification ** ** two days off, will be stacks of these things to do, probably tomorrow & Monday. Having laser surgery on left eye on Tuesday - some residue from last year's cataract op needs zapping. Don't need a backlog of certs as the next 5 months are the busiest of the year, pre summer festival etc
Thanks Taff...the laser stuff is really quite 'simple' all being well will be able to drive on Wednesday Castella - Macbeth ** ** Close but no cigar
Morning Taff & PH You needed that lot and more to get you to half time Taff. Game of two halfs eh!! Lovely headline - Huge(t) mistake gifts North try, great juggling act though. A wins a win - congrats and good luck vs Bristol City Today's theme, words containing the letters O T E (any sequence) Electorate - Voters
Morning Nick and PH As you say, a game of 2 ’halfs’. Thankfully, a different France appeared after halftime! A win is a win - Ireland scraped through in Paris 12 months ago with Sexton dropping a goal in the ‘red’ zone after 80 mins - and they didn’t do too badly after that! That said, on paper, Ireland are the team to beat, but if England win today, they’d be on a high and the Media would make them favourites. My dark horses, though are Scotland. A ‘gentle’ opener, which should put them top of the table after the first weekend, after that who knows! Good luck at Hull today. Hope Vokes turns out a good acquisition for you. He knows where the net is! Great link as well Voters - Selectors
Great response there Taff. Scotland often flatter to deceive though, I remember a few seasons ago v Italy at Murrayfield, 20 - 0 down after 15 minutes Ireland vs England....hmm, dour and dirty?? Selectors - Rhetoric
Ireland seem to have great strength in depth, yet England have the largest player pool. I expect that game to be tight, as you say a dour affair that could become dirty with so much at stake. There again, the Six Nations often surprises! Rhetoric - Celebration
Does indeed Taff Re Vokes, I think Messi would find it difficult scoring at Stoke Celebration - Hostelry
