Morning PH Great word...had to google it!! Borborigmi - Bohemian ** ** other rhapsodies are available
Bodmin Bolognese ** ** Other sauces which should never, apparently, go anywhere near spaghetti are also available; apparently you should use something a bit more chunky like tagliatelle, with more surface area, to avoid annoying any passing Italians…
Bolognese - Bodin* * - other former Welsh soccer internationals are available, but it was Paul Bodin whose missed penalty against Romania meant yet more World Cup heartache in failing to qualify for the final stage of the World Cup. I know, coz I was there! In fact, that night a Welsh supporter died in his seat at the end of the game when a flare was fired from across the ground (not far from where we were sitting) and hit the poor chap.
Morning Taff I remember that tragedy. Bodin - Borodin ** ** other Russian composers are available Rather than Book, I was tempted to put Bouncing instead. Private Eye's other nickname for Robert Maxwell was The Bouncing Czech
I read a biography on Harold Larwood 3 or 4 years ago - a really good read. Whilst Bradman seemed to have a genuine dislike of Jardine (and his approach) there seemed to be huge respect for Larwood - both as a man and a bowler. Harold was very quick! Bodyline - Bodell* * - other Jacks are available, especially in & around Swansea
Ageeed, togerher with the hopeless Plum Warner, my wife found a book called Bodyline (50p) in a charity shop. An in depth analysis of that Ashes series and what led up to it. As you say, Larwood was admired in Australia, indeed he lived (and died) there. Deemed 'Not quite our type' by the MCC and their like Bodell - Bojan ** ** If only for that horrenous injury on a ice rink in Rochdale. Quite simply, the best player in our shirt since (and including) Greenhoff & Hudson. Praise does not come any higher from yours truly. Phew...more gin
Jimmy Greenhoff & Alan Hudson - some players! Bojan - Bond* * - other spies are available but may not be licenced to kill!
Morning Nick & PH Today’s theme is words starting in S and ending in T Bond - Street Taking our daughter to Bristol today - will pop in when I can
