We don't have Saracens' spending power Nick - in fact Munster, Leinster & Ulster (not forgetting Glasgow) all have larger player budgets than us. Hence, we try and develop our players - all 4 Lions came through the system.

Hi Nick - didn't read it that you were having a go, and I didn't want/mean to come across as defensive. Saracens are a great side - and a business with something like £40m-£50m of debt on the Balance Sheet.

Regional rugby in Wales is at a crossroads - the WRU are buying the Dragons (subject to a vote by Newport RFC Trust members) & are taking over the Blues......
