Vetch - didn't Bronson meet Jill Ireland on the set of the Great Escape when she was with her then husband, David McCullum (aka Ilya Kuryakin)? Rumour has it Bronson told McCullum that he (Bronson) was going to marry Ireland - which he did and was with her until her death.

Bronson became a mega star, but I never rated Ireland as an actress. She landed too many film roles because Bronson was the star, and he called the shots. Nice looking girl, though.
He did stay with her until her death from cancer.
McCullum, of course, has been in the long running NCIS show.
