Madeleine Berrevoets lives on the North Side of Fredericton with her daughter Audrey.
From early adulthood Madeleine has used her skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm to build strong communities. Soon after her daughter was born, Madeleine became a volunteer at the midwives’ office in her hometown of Muskoka. She shared her passion for a strong and healthy start for infants by teaching classes with an attachment parenting focus.
After moving to Fredericton, Madeleine became involved in community gardens and food sustainability. She is the coordinator for the St. Mary’s community garden and a community food mentor. Madeleine‘s interest in food availability and environmental practices that sustain healthy lifestyles for our communities led her to seek the nomination for the Fredericton North Green Party candidacy.
Madeleine’s life is a model of fiscal responsibility. She lives an active life, full of sustainable and healthy activities. Pursuing nomination for the Green Party is a natural extension of the life she has chosen.
Madeleine’s work as an automotive technician’s apprentice allows her to work with her hands and her mind and keeps her in constant contact with the community.
