Well Steve the way you got to look at it is his job is to kick a ball in a net. Now he knows that he is quite good at doing that at wall but (regardless as to whether he can continue his form) if he goes to Leicester he will get say double the money he gets here. Once he signs the contract he could be complete pony but he will still get paid. If you got offered double your wages to do exactly the same job somewhere else and would continue to get paid even if you ended up not doing your job not very well I reckon you would take the job. Remember he was here 5 months so let's be pleased that he did well while we had him and spend the money on another player or two. Be more concerned about rumour of KJ going to Forest. Frankly we could sell any one of our players and it wouldn't bother me greatly but lose KJ and we are ****ed!
Agree totally MFC as it's true and I know you're right but just wanted us to push on like we have been doing but I'd rather lose any player any day but Kenny - **** me we'd be shagged!
1) You are average - as only winning 3 from 12 away games shows. 2) Lots of reports linking Knockaert to Arsenal http://gossip.ladyarse.com/arsenal/2012/12/26/french-striker-linked-with-arsenal/ I agree that £10k per week extra is a no brainer decision but he never was "our" striker, but if you think he will give you guaranteed promotion then you are very blinkered
1) We're above you and average? Does that make you below average? 2) 'gossip.ladyarse.com' 3) Nothing to do with money as people on your side have said on twitter. All to do with promotion chances. 4) If you could point out where I said he will guarantee us promotion, that'd be great.
1) No - you being 1 point above us (even though your wage bill is treble) makes us average too. 2) As I said originally (lots of reports linking Knockaert to Arsenal) http://metro.co.uk/2012/12/26/arsen...for-leicester-star-anthony-knockaert-3329658/ http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/85199-knockaert-to-arsenal/ http://www.arsenal-world.co.uk/leicester_city/player/season_142/anthony_knockaert_83543/index.shtml http://conmcdonaghf1.wordpress.com/2012/12/26/arsenal-looking-at-leicesters-knockaert/ http://www.transfermarketweb.com/?action=read&idsel=113517 http://www.goal.com/fr/news/33/tran.../transferts-knockaert-dans-le-viseur-darsenal 3) True - It might not be to do with the £10k per week extra Yeah right 4) Well you called me bitter when I replied to Eric's post about him getting you up or was you jumping in without reading it all? Suggest you do in future to stop us going round in circles as it gives me no pleasure in making you look silly over the festive period
Hope you fnd the right striker. Knockaert isnt good enough for Arsenal, so dont believe a word of it. Forest will go down the road of a big name manager for their new owners, so KJ should slip under that radar. No doubt we may have offered more to WBA with add ons, but cant see us paying more than £20k a week - we've got rid of most of the players who were on that wage. Good luck for the rest of the season.
Hope his Christmas tree catches fire and burns his f***ing house down, the money hungry, lying little prick.
Your promotion chances are bound to be better than ours as you can afford to pay over the top wages, its got to be easy to manage a club like Leicester just look around see who is doing the business at a rival club and pay big bucks to land him, if only you had a manager that got the best out of their players you'd have the title sewn up already. Still any premiership club with a promising up and coming striker coming through the ranks and looking for some first team experience will be knocking on Kenny's door to blood them in and get the best out of them.
Lets hope he turns out to be another overpaid under performing mercenary like the rest of the team.Hope your both in the same league next season and he has to go the Den..bet he pulls a sick day for that one.
It was Woods decision and he chose the big bucks thats fine by me we only want players who want to play for the club,Berylson has told Kenny the money is available to sign another striker so we can expect a good replacement Kenny has done the right thing in sending him packing early, we now dont want him anywhere near our club
From the local Millwall reporter for those saying it was all to do with money: "Wood definitely gone to #lcfc. Confirmed by source at #millwall end. Told it is nothing to do with money - even harder to take." "Was told yesterday there was "no real difference" between #millwall's contract offer and #lcfc's. To do with promotion chances. Huge blow."
Never mind you Lions, if he has gone to LCFC for promotion he has more faith in a teams chances in this league that most of us, it is so unpredictable, so it doesn't say much for his judgement (yet)! We are just grateful to him that he has gone to them after we played them and before we play you. I always love the Cardiff - Wall games, plenty of passion, but knowing he won't be there is a relief. Other than that, I hope you keep hold of Kenny, the Trees diectors don't deserve a good manager. That decision was obviously taken before the weeds game, you don't sack your manager as a knee-jerk reaction immediately after a 4-2 win do you? I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them. Good luck for the rest of the season after Saturday.
Well if it was not to do with money (cough) and down to promotion chances I can't see how he came to that decision as there is 1pt between the sides and we beat them the other week. Unless we get a good replacement it's true that we will certainly be less likely for promotion now but that's only because he left! If he fails to score regularly for Leicester I will being having a good laugh about it. A Leicester v wall meeting in the playoffs would be interesting As for the forest sacking of the manager, most likely decided before the Leeds game but then again maybe only winning by a 2 goal margin against Leeds was seen as a major failure?
