The African Cup of Nations top scorer? Scoring more than Drogba, Eto'o, Gyan, Odemwingie, Kanoute, Kalou, Yakubu, etc, etc.
I'm excited to see him play myself.
You're not actually suggesting it's a high quality competition, are you?

I think he is yes, but I fail to see what's wrong with it myself!
It would have helped if he was actually at the ACON and not inside the QPR car park
We all agree anyway, you have signed the new Messi
It's a good job you're here Proud, or else AKCJ's would look a complete mong.

Are you trying to suggest that they are not high quality players?
Furthermore, he didn't start a single game that tournament when he outscored that list of players. He averaged a goal every 35 minutes.
I'm suggesting that they're playing against shocking defenders.
More than enough quality to see Posh off with or without Wood and that goes for the sides we've got to play for the rest of the month.
Could be worse, like not having a striker in the first place![]()

Yet he still scored more than Drogba, Eto'o, Gyan, Odemwingie, Kanoute, Kalou and Yakubu without starting a single game. it's all relative, if the defenders are **** then the strikers should score more, doesn't make Gedo's achievement any less impressive.

Did you watch any of the one just gone?
Put it this way, Wakaso was joint top scorer. He's a defensive midfielder that has scored 2 goals in 95 games as a professional.
You avoided my question, why do you put exclamation marks at the end of every post?
Have you ever watched an AFCON fixture?
They play at about 2 mph and the apparent 'top' players look like they'd much rather be playing in the PL, Serie A or La Liga where they'd be better off.
Come off it. You're not really suggesting that he's a good player based on the fact he scored a few goals against Benin and Mosambique?![]()
The question wasn't aimed at me though, so why should I answer it?

Well we have on our books, McLean, Simpson, Fryatt, Gedo, Aluko and Proschwitz, with all being strikers! We have a total of 7 strikers,1 is out on loan and 2 are injured, we still need 1 but the emergency loan window, incase you didn't know, is currently open, subsequently we will get a striker in!
I watch it every time it's on, they're good games and it's interesting to watch the different style of play.
You look at the strength of a team like Ivory Coast or Ghana and tell me it's not far and wide above Championship standard.
You don't retain a place in a national team like Egypt and score regularly without having some talent.
