I mentioned on here 4 games back after that Coventry debacle that such was the struggle playing catch up, I doubted even if we won 4 on the bounce we'd break into the top 6.

Well we've just done that and we've climbed the table alright getting above the likes of Blackburn, Millwall and Middlesbrough etc, and we're much closer, but the current top 6 is exactly the same as back then. Norwich on top with Bournemouth in second - the others, Watford, Swans, Reading and Wurzels have just swapped positions.

OK, there's another 4 games coming up including Boxing Day and 3 of them are at home to Jacksville, Brum and Brentford, with a difficult trip to Norwich sandwiched in between.

I know it still depends on others, but verdict please - can we make top 6 by then?

7 or 9 points from that lot would be a good return.
Probably leave us in 6th or 7th.

I know we shouldn't look too far ahead but after the next 4 games mentioned above, we've got some really winnable games to the end of January.

"No easy games in this division" is true enough, but apart from the quick return home game against Norwich, we've got Wycombe, Rotherham, QPR, Barnsley and Millwall.

FFS guys, we're going up!!......<laugh><laugh>

sometimes an innocent remark can become the sword of Damocles.... in this division with a game every 72 or so hours nothing runs to form!

15 points then?

JGF pal - when we've lost games we've thoroughly deserved to, but when we've won points, we've also deserved them. We've both played some rubbish this season, but we've been punished for it - you often haven't.

That's the difference between you and us. When you've won points, very often you've not deserved them - that's the only reason you're still above us in the table - ces't la vie.
