I'm starting to warm to it very slightly but agree it is ****. What I don't like is the constant BBC propaganda promoting it above other far more popular sports. Today the nation has "fallen in love" with the women's team. The other day they "joined the 1966 and 1990 club". If they win it there will be calls for knighting the manager.
Typical BBC really. I feel the same about how Nicola Adams is treated like some God. It's women's boxing for **** sake, she can't actually have that much bloody competition.
Japan will woop their arses. The dream is coming to an end. But it doesnt matter, they've done enough to make BBC Sports Personality of the year.
Didn't she have to win one fight to get to the semi finals of the Olympics (where both losers are guaranteed a bronze medal)?
1-1 from an England penalty that should never have been given The ref and assistants are worse than the mens
I wonder if they have the same amount of hatred towards them in common? Burning effigies or an on line hate campaign towards the girl who scored the own goal maybe? Or is the actual truth no one really cares, however the BBC might tell us otherwise.
For all the talk about bad luck, it was a ****ing stupid own goal. Reminiscent of that Gerrard back pass in 2004, no need for it as she could have easily gotten the ball away from goal with her left foot, or just left it as there was a covering defender. That's the one thing England women have in common with England men - players making **** decisions and ****ing up as soon as the pressure is on.
Well, the Women have gained third place and beat Germany to it. Would have been nice to see them in the final but they got further than expected
Japan falling apart, USA 4-0 up after 15 mins, goal 3 was a superb volley and goal 4 was from half way line
