I honestly think that over the years as they've got more money, and have got more pampered, that the will to win at International level has gone down with the blokes for England, I wonder if older supporters feel the same. It's impossible to prove but it feels that way.

 

The interesting thing for the blokes too was the last game (I might be wrong) they were struggling to beat some crap team from Eastern Europe, like I say I might be wrong but I don't think I am

Not too bad so far, Bardsley doesn't fill you with confidence as usual, could even be one up if Houghton had taken a good chance 5 yards out

 

Been a good half so far, was worried before the game but as it goes on I think we can nick a goal

 

First half has been excellent to watch with both teams playing fast open football. Germany are edging it overall and have created several good chances with the England fullback clearing what would have been a headed own goal off the line. I've enjoyed this one far more than any of our mens teams games in recent years and give great credit to the players and the coaching staff for the dramatic improvement in performance quality and effort throughout this tournament. We truly look like a world-class team. Well done again ladies!!

Approaching the 90th minute - this is normally when England concede a goal in this tournament.

 

Made it to extra- time thank god, wouldn't it be sweet to take it to pens and beat the Germans at their own game, would make up for a lot of things!

Yeah, I don't think winning in the 3rd Place Play Off would make up for Italia 90 or Euro 96.

 

England finishing the second half much stronger despite having one days less rest. Aluko's speed could be the game breaker. Looking good for the ladies!!

 

Germany started extra time better, Houghton with some great defending.
