Women just aren't funny as stand-ups in general, there is an odd exception here and there (in my personal opinion, horses for courses), HIAG is hilarious
The Whammenz can be funny, not Amy Schumer though. Stolen jokes about your smelly minge don't do it for me, especially if it's Schumer's smelly minge is the image you get.
Which ones? I think Mock the Week set a record for finding unfunny female panellists, bar one or two, like that ugly Scottish lass with the massive norks, she's very funny imo, small doses though. Truth be told, Franky Boyle is also tedious for an hour too. Very repetitive, hilarious in small doses
Dunno who the first two are. Katherine Ryan is not really that funny at all, you just want to bang her #behonest
This is Jen Kirkman? ugh, exactly like Samantha Bee, who is currently the most unfunniest human in the world There is no intelligence at all in this comedy. No story telling, nothing. Garbage
compare the female style to story telling that most good male comics do Bill Burr. ****ing hilarious!
He's quite popular but I don't really like any of the stand ups I'm seeing recently, it's all been done before.
In terms of male stand-ups, Kevin Bridges cracks me-up. Last summer after my little run in with the heart surgery team at the Royal Brompton, I made the mistake of watching one of KB's routine's back home the week after the op - had to have a fookin cushion clutched to my chest coz I couldn't suppress the laughter and it hurt so fookin' much ...
if you want funny, I listen to Opie and Anthony recordings on youtube when I'm traveling to work or working from home. Check it out, US radio show shock jocks, show's gone now but, ****ING HILARIOUS radio show.
I agree, too many just saying "shocking" thinks to get laughs it doesn't really bother me but I also don't find it funny. Fankie Boyle is a good example, he became very popular so I watched a show and found it boring as hell. I prefer the stand ups who can just look at life and find the humour in it other than the ones who want to just mock people.
