Fair points mate but I'm not saying that all the blame lies with the victims, just that it's not a black & white situation. There's a hysteria building up and I'd guess a fair few 'victims' have decided they've been spiked in the same way we used to claim we'd 'had a bad pint' .... ... strangely always the 8th or 9th This climate of fear that's building is totally out of proportion and I really don't believe some of them claims, sorry but I was working in that realm for years and Thursday night was always one of the worst, Student Night! Part of this movement is the following, "Hannah Thomson, a former student from Glasgow, created a petition to make it a legal requirement for nightclubs to thoroughly search guests on entry to “prevent harmful weapons and other items entering the establishment”." It's a reasonable guess that some of the people who've signed the petition are the same people who've refused to wear masks because it's 'not cool' and have previously kicked off if doormen have asked to look in their handbags, never mind being 'thoroughly searched'. Also, these glass covers were actually piloted in Nottingham and no-one would use them ... not a cool look apparently. As I've said I think the situation is being bandwagonned to a degree .... ... a few dozen cases of zero recollection' in fresher's week never used to big news until this 'Safety for Women' movement. Unpopular views, I know ... but honest.
