So they say. The restaurant they apparently went to had 2 jumbo jets flown into it though, so it can't be proven.
Women's football sucks for sooo many objective reasons, but entertainment is subjective, so if you like it fair enough. However, from an equality front, it's pathetic to me that women have to have their own league. Some women footballers have genuine talent, some are pitiful, yet poor interest in the game means not enough of the former are present to make their own league system worthy of merit (as shown by the derision on this thread). The better players should be able to compete with men, I feel, instead of being forced to play with the exact same female players constantly because there is not a large enough pool of talent. I think female interest in professional football would increase if it were to occur that there were role-models in the "men's" competition instead, to be honest.
They are not strong enough. I know Navratilova would have done well in the mens game but tennis is a non-contact sport, women can't compete with men in a contact sport*. *I've not seen any evidence of this or looked for it nor am I aware if there is any and I could be totally wrong but it is FACT.
Hahahaha Throwing caution to the obvious innuendo, I've played football with a fairly talented female footballer, and she was alright with hefty tackles... I don't really see how the men's game is physical enough to stop women playing to be honest. I mean, women athletes can run faster than many a fit man, and there are slow skillful players at the top of the men's game. The only sticking point would be in the box, as grabbing shirts wouldn't be a foul, more like sexual assault!!!
Sorry, but you can't have women players playing with men for the same reason you can't have women players competing with men in any other physical sport. It's not a fair match at the highest levels. At the low levels any of us are playing, a talented female player could kick our arse, sure. But the strongest and fastest male players are going to be too much for the strongest and fastest female players, through a process of natural biology. It's like athletics ... doesn't matter how good you are, at the top level the best men are simply faster and stronger than the best women. There are many sports which don't need to separate men and women, but do. Football isn't one of them.
So are you saying that is absolutely impossible for any woman to be strong enough and fast enough to compete with a professional male footballer, or just highly unlikely?
I'm saying that it's impossible for any woman, no matter who they are, to be strong enough and fast enough to compete with the top-level professional male footballers. Just like it would be impossible for any woman to compete with the top-level male track athletes, or top-level weightlifters. The ceiling of physical strength you can achieve is simply different for the two sexes.
It's not impossible, it's just unlikely - testosterone can only get you so far and there are plenty of skilful midget footballers who don't look as if they have shaved in their lives. I'm more convinced that it's conditioning, to care or not for the game enough to play it regularly from a young enough age to become good at it - just look at Chinese men, there's 600m of them and they can't produce 11 good footballers between them. I'd certainly make the USA Women's team favourites to beat the Chinese Male team.
I agree. It's similar to the fact about women having smaller brains etc it's all scientifically proven.
