wolves were robbed!!!

Makes a change from last season really, dropped a good 6 points at least with very late goals a few which were fluky deflections. Must of been 6-7 goals conceded from lucky deflections.

But they did deserve something from the game, very glad we took the 3 points.

Nowt to do with luck...it was just a couple of atrocious decisions by the officials which robbed Wolves of victory..

It was all entirely our own doing really. We dominated the first half and we had the quality to dominate the second, but we took our foot off the pedal and then Pardew brought on some frankly horrendous subs in Guthrie and Lovenkrands.

Wolves fought hard, but we undone ourselves in the last 20 minutes I reckon.

HAHAHA! No help from the officals then. Your own manager said you were lucky!

Just watched MOTD and there were some atrocious decisions around generally. That Rodwell sending off was a shocker. Larssen at least was offside for us when he scored. It's horrible when a good goal is chalked off. Wigan got he shaft as well as Wolves and Everton.

Wolves deserved a point today, Newcastle are certainly getting the bounce of the ball at the moment . The mags are looking solid at the back though thanks to Colo and Taylor.

We were lucky with the penalty decision definitely, because it was a penalty. However, if we had kept our cool and kept our performance up, we should have grabbed a win or draw even if that penalty stood. Really just invited a ****ing ton of pressure in the last 10 mins.

Suarez is a horrible little ****, his reaction got him sent off, waving his arm about like he had had his leg broken, hate the goofy bastard.

With the amount of **** luck we had last season, and sometimes in this season so far (Larsson handball not given) i think this bit of lucky has been coming

Sometimes I feel that the amount of iffy decisions that the mags get in their favour goes beyond luck...

All comes down to perspective I suppose. I actually think of us as being an unlucky team who rarely get a break, but I accept that you generally remember the luck that goes against you more than the luck that benefits.

Like some of the others have said though there was nothing lucky about us being 2 goals to the good, but then we just went to sleep and let Wolves get at us. Doesn't change the fact that we needed bad decisions from the officials to get over the line though!

The Rodwell sending off was the worst decision though. Refs seem to be hell bent on killing the game by outlawing tackling.

Yep, Wolves were good for a point today, can't agree with the feeling from some though that our success so far this season has had a lot of luck to it - balls.

Reckon this result cancels out the late goals we conceded last year against mackems and Spurs :)
