This is true, the league is a strange one. That said, Wolves have been dire and for all Eddie's wisdom why we stuck with 433 that match is beyond me. It's not like 4-4-2 is an alien concept, just haul Tonali off, stick Wissa on and see if two up top can get a goal.
Except for their last handful of games.

Sure! Mid-Jan and they’ve got a whopping 8 points. Come on man, a club spending £250m on attackers should surely be scoring at least against a team as bad as wolves?

It’s like was said elsewhere it’s as if the fans (hope I’m ok to use that term, appreciate some here don’t think many of us have the right…..) have got to be thankful we’re not in the Championship watching Gabriel Obertan and must shut up and smile instead of challenging dour performances that’s become commonplace these days.

Man City lost to Man U. Liverpool drew with Burnley. Arsenal drew with Forest and Villa lost at home to Everton. It doesn’t always go the way that’s expected or by the stats.

Yes, we can expect better than the general fare served up under Ashley but to complain to the extent a lot of social media fans do is, as ‘old’ Jim said, pathetic. As I have said, we were one goal from being fifth. A very fine margin. Yet so many fans are complaining about so many things and persistently fail to put their complaints into perspective. That is what irritates the likes of ‘old’ Jim and me.

<laugh>....less of the old. At three score years and two, I think seasoned would be more appropriate.

Okay I hadn’t realised we were going on past history on today’s prices. Sure you don’t want to add Ferdinand and shearer to the list?

<laugh> <laugh> <laugh> <laugh>

Past history? Or as it's otherwise called "the current squad"!!

I put plenty of positives out when due. Criticism when not. It's not really more complicated mate.

So cannot state facts that he’s definitively to blame, but facts do suggest that since Howe Jr was promoted to a prominent position within the transfer team we have signed more misses than the hits we signed prior.
So more than likely nothing to do with him. Steve Nickson is at the top. Oh and it's already come out that AH played a big part in signing players like Bruno and Botman
