Well, I manage an early years department. It’s a bit difficult to get really savage in writing a report on a four year old (especially during e-learning!) I always tell people to focus on positives in report writing. Any negatives should be framed as targets and ideally be discussed with parents prior to reporting so that they don’t show up with pitchforks and torches when they go out. I’m not going to throw out “Louise is an ungodly little **** and no matter how much time I spend on numbers to ten with her, she is never going to get it and she will forever be a burden on the life of anyone who has the misfortune of encountering her”. I might say, “Louise is developing her ability to concentrate and meet behaviour expectations and should be further encouraged with this at home. She continues to work very hard on learning her numbers up to ten and helping her to engage with this in a fun, enthusiastic way will improve her ability to function in academic settings throughout her school life.” I die a thousand deaths every time I write reports. Really parents just want to see that you understand who their kid is and the reality is that they are usually a hundred times worse at home than they are for you. Names changed to protect the (almost) innocent. You love them all, but some are easier to love than others.
I'm actually not that disappointed that Traore is starting tonight. Last time we played Wolves he came off the bench to devastating effect.

Good starting XI but have to say that seems an odd bench - 3 strikers and 0 full backs! Clearly Valery & Vokins are not up to it in Ralph's mind as we wanted another full back in the summer, are still rumoured to want Williams and neither even make back up.
